According to the TAM ratings for week 10, Zee TV’s ratings have soared to 301 as compared to 246 in the previous week. A major contributor to the rise has been ‘Zee Rishtey Awards 2010’ telecast on the Sunday, February 28, 2010 which garnered a TVR of 7, a number none of the television events have acquired in the last two years. Even the Screen Awards that was telecast a couple of weeks back had only managed to deliver a TVR of 6.6.

The telecast day of ‘Zee Rishtey Awards 2010’, was of heavy competition given that it was also the World Television Premiere of the film Kaminey (Colors) and Amitabh Bhachchan’s Rann (Star Plus). Telecast of a Holi special event (Colors) and the Wave Awards (Sony) was also on the same day. ‘Zee Rishtey Awards 2010’ far surpassed all these and came out as a clear leader on television.
