In the month of February when the world is raising a toast to love, Zee TV presents audiences with a young, romantic dramedy ‘BIN KUCH KAHE’ at 6:30 PM from 6th February. Teaming up with Artecom Entertainment Productions, Zee TV introduces viewers to the picture-perfect world of the Kohlis. It’s a story about a Punjabi mother who has single-handedly raised three daughters, each with a distinct personality of her own, and has hopes from each of them. The apple of everyone’s eye and the girl who can never go wrong is the youngest daughter – Myra Kohli. The show follows her journey of breaking some rules and making some of her own as life takes her across the globe in search of true love, one that transcends cultural boundaries.
The show marks the return to television of the popular actor, Shamata Anchan after a hiatus of two years. The talented actress who was noted for her spirited portrayal of a girl on an adventure trail in her last show, is back to impress you with a power-packed performance in Zee TV’s new show. Shamata Anchan says, “I was waiting for a project that I could connect with, hence the gap. I loved the film Aisha and was very keen on working with producer Rajshree Ojha. In Bin Kuch Kahe, I play Myra Kohli, the ideal daughter who follows all her mother’s rules and is the most sensible. She wishes to be a journalist one day. Myra’s mother has a lot of expectations from her as well as her two sisters. The story follows Myra’s path of finding her own self and understanding that love is a universal emotion, culture no bar.”
Cast in the lead role opposite Shamata is debutant Sameer Arora. He adds, “It is a great opportunity for me. I couldn’t have asked for a better debut than on a leading channel like Zee TV. I am playing a half Brazilian-half Indian guy Kabir. He loves football, politics and music by A.R. Rahman. All the girls in Brazil have their eyes on him and being a globe-trotting journalist, currently he shown in India for an assignment.” Playing the role of the mother Mrs Kohli is Archana Mittal; eldest daughter Abha is Rashmi Somvanshi and the youngest daughter Rhea Kohli is Nirwana Sawhney.
Producer Rajshree Ojha of Artecomm Entertainment says, “It’s a pleasure to associate with Zee TV on a very fresh, breezy young love story set in Jaipur. Shooting in Jaipur is a joy as it is a rare destination for television shows to be entirely shot in. The sets are spectacular looking, ideal for the rich, luxurious feel of a romantic drama. We have pulled out all the stops in ensuring high production values and have a talented, good looking cast on board. The drama and excitement in the vibrant world of the Kohlis will surely touch everyone’s hearts!”
