On May 1st, Maharashtra Day, Zee Marathi brings a new and exciting show for its viewers at 7pm. Lagira Zhala Jee is a one of its kind love story between an aspiring soldier and a perky, flamboyant girl based in Satara. The show will replace the mythological fiction Jai Malhar which enthralled audiences for three years.
The show encapsulates the story of a boy who aims to join the army and a girl from the same village who takes pride in being in love with a soldier. The story is entirely based and shot in Satara and the major cast is also from there.
The fusion of love & patriotism is a strong element riding through the entire campaign where the girl is shown supporting his aspiration to join the army. Elements of patriotism sparkle through various interactions between the lead characters.
With a catchy title track, a special 30-sec promo has been made using the song which will be played across major Marathi news and music channels, cinema and on various Zee Marathi’s digital platforms. An extensive cinema plan across theatres in Maharashtra is a part of the launch campaign since it is the release of the mega-blockbuster film Baahubali-2. Customized, specific promos have been made for cinema with one focusing on the big cities in Maharashtra and another which will run across the small towns. Over 350 screens covering 30+ towns will have Lagira Zhala Jee promos running.
Digital and new media forms a vital piece of the campaign with platforms like Whatsapp, OTT platforms like Voot, YouTube and Zee Marathi’s own social media platforms- Facebook, Twitter & Instagram as well as the Zee Marathi App. Promos with catchy dialogues and character introductions will be a focus of the digital platforms.
Besides this, an extensive outdoor in 30 cities and towns across Maharashtra with a rural focus considering the rural appeal of the show. The print campaign includes a full page ad for impact on the day of launch alongwith other major Marathi publications carrying the ad as well.
