Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, India‘s leading television, media and entertainment company launched its first edition of its intellectual Property – ZEE Leadership Series on 15th Nov, 2013. As brand ZEE marches ahead to achieve its envisioned goals, of reaching a billion viewers by 2020, and to establish itself amongst the top global media brands, it also aims at enhancing value for its business by establishing intellectual properties, based on ZEE’s core pillars Pioneering Vision, Innovation and Leadership.
The theme for this year’s event was One World: Risk, Opportunity and Excellence, consisted renowned names like Fredrick Haren and Capt. Richard Phillips. Fredrick Haren, a Swedish entrepreneur, publisher and author is one of the most talked-about names in the field of creativity. Fredrick is also the founder of creative company interesting.org and author of the best sellers The Idea Book and The Developing World.
The second speaker of the event was Richard Phillips, the former Captain of the Maersk Alabama, which was the only US cargo ship to be attacked by pirates in the last 200 years. Richard Phillips is a hero in every sense of the word. Held hostage by Somali pirates to save his crew and ship, the Captain shared his story of tremendous individual bravery, leadership and eventually, of triumph.
The event witnessed presence of CEO’s and CXO’s from diverse industries. Our Chairman Mr. Subhash Chandra gave the inaugural address and vote of thanks was given by Mr. Punit Goenka, MD & CEO, ZEE.
