‘Numb3rs’ revolves around the Eppes family and the careers of the two Epps brothers Don Eppes (Rob Morrow), an FBI agent who heads the Los Angeles Violent Crime Squad, and Charlie Eppes (David Krumholtz), a mathematical genius who helps his older brother Don solve crimes. This is a series where the most complex mathematical equations are simplified and explained to derive a solution best suited to solve the crime.
The highlight of the show is the interaction and bonding between the brothers who are like chalk and cheese, and their relationship with their father Alan Eppes (Judd Hirsch). Family takes precedence in ‘Numb3rs’ and the terrific supporting cast of the slightly eccentric friend and colleague of Charlie, Larry (Peter MacNicol) who is forever in another planet, and Charlie’s friend, colleague and love interest, Amita Ramanujam (Navi Rawat) adds value to the show.
