When a girl gets married, one of the bigger apprehensions she faces is how she will manage to deal with her in-laws, to be more specific, how she will get along with her mother-in-law. Now imagine a girl has to impress not one but SIX mother-in-laws!!
Shrirasthu Shubhamasthu is the story of a smart, young girl named Janavi and a dashing industrialist, Shrinidhi. Fate plays Cupid for Shrinidhi and Janavi the first time they meet. Their love blossoms but as fate would have it, a lot of misunderstandings are created about Janavi in the minds of Shrinidhi’s six mothers. From here on began Janavi’s journey to win over her six mother-in-laws and eventually create her own space in her husband’s house.
A lot of back-end effort has been put into choosing the dialogs, the background music and in the cast selection. The title track has been choreographed by the No 1 Choreographer in Sandalwood right now, Imran Sardaria and the lyrics have been composed by the very popular Hari Krishna. The title song and promos have been shot by cameraman Krishna (of the Blockbuster Kannada movie Mungaaru Male fame).
SRSM will be a light hearted, sweet story which aims to break free from the clutter of serious serials. Unlike the regular atte-sose dramas (read: Saas-Bahu stories) in this serial there is NO villain. Yes you read it right, no Villains! Armed with this formula for success and supported by an extensive marketing campaign Zee Kannada is all set to launch the serial on 22nd September 2014 in the 7:00pm band.
