Zee Kannada, a household name in the Kannada television industry with its variety of innovative and novel programs has emerged with yet another new reality fun game show exclusively for couples called ‘Haalu-Jenu Naanu-Neenu’. The popular film actress Chaya Singh, also known for her wit and humour, makes her first appearance as an anchor in ‘Haalu-Jenu Naanu-Neenu’.
The concept of HJNN is a unique one. It is very common that every couple wishes for a second trip of honeymoon in their marriage. Reasons like lack of time, finances and opportunity would have come in their way but here at Haalu Jenu Naanu Neenu, this magical dream is fulfilled as they rediscover their relationship with each other. This fun-filled game show will provide the ultimate platform for these couples to renew that chemistry they once shared.
“With this show, we give these couples – both, old and young a chance to re-ignite that initial spark with a second Honeymoon” says Head of the Programming Department Parameshwar Gundkal. “The show comprises of four rounds, which are a well-balanced mix of fun, emotion and competition. Honeymoon is the gratification of the show. ‘No elimination’ is another aspect of the HJNN”, he added.
This show sports a unique format with four exciting rounds for the participating couples. Identify your spouse is the 1st round concept, in which the spouse recognizes hidden partner among other by their physical features. e.g. wives have to identify their husbands by their silhouettes, as they stand with a few others, within 30 seconds. Points are awarded if they succeed.
The 2nd round will be a compatibility test where each couple should match their answers to the questions asked about each other, separately. The 3rd round comprises of activity based games to test their ‘unity-in-activity’ like weight lifting, love-meter, two-become-one-archery and several other unique ways of bringing the two closer.
The 4th and final round consists of a survey based Question and Answer session. Winners are declared at the end of round four. Bumper prizes will be awarded to the Winner and Runner-up. Winners will be awarded a honeymoon ticket to exciting destinations of India and one Super Winner jodi gets an international Holiday!
Confession and punishment by spouses, surprise the couple, dancing together, situational mimicry by spouse and astrology are the emotional quotients and other elements of HJNN.
