Zee TV Russia made a giant leap from 12th spot to 7th by increasing its ATVR last month, under movie and serial category (W 24-55), non-terrestrial channels.
In the last 4 months (January ’17 – April ’17), Zee TV Russia has increased its ATVR by 22,6%, i.e. from 31 minutes to 38 minutes. ZEE is now comfortably placed ahead of other foreign channels such as Fox, Sony, Viasat etc., who dominated the market for the last few years.
“There are few reasons that helped us to achieve this result. Starting this April, we increased our Prime Time slot by half an hour, which now starts at 16:30 instead of 17:00 local time for its viewers. Unlike our ‘direct competitors’ (India TV and Bollywood HD) who only caters to the local diaspora with Indian movies, ZEE shifted its focus more towards its rich library of Serials that were in huge demand by our viewers” – commented Anna Lyubimova, Programming Manager.
