PRESS RELEASE

13 October 2017

The employees of Multichoice (DStv) in Johannesburg were in for a treat with Popcorn and Slushies during the special screening of ‘Rustom’ by ZEE Africa. In continuation to the marketing and activations for the new channel – Zee Bollymovies, a Bollywood Movie Day was organised at the Multichoice South Africa Head office in Johannesburg.

With the launch of Bollymovies, ZEE now has three channels on Africa’s largest DTH Platform DStv.
DStv’s Corporate Communications team along with ZEE arranged for a screening of ‘Rustom’ dubbed in English, at the in-house cinema of MCA. The movie screening introduced Zee Bollymovies to the staff of over 600 people at MCA, allowing them to experience the content first-hand.

There were 3 shows in the day with Popcorn and Slush stands. It was a good turnout for the movies with some employees even bringing their parents along. Many others who couldn’t make time for a movie stopped by to grab a bag of popcorn and slush on their way to meetings.

There was a short introduction to the brand by the CEO Harish Goyal followed by a fun Q&A with winners getting branded gifts from Zee Bollymovies.
