Parwaaz (meaning ‘to take flight’) debuted as Al Tareeq on Zee Alwan. After setting record ratings in its original language airing on Zee TV in Middle East, Al Tareeq launched in August on Zee Alwan as a weekend show. It became the number 1 show on Zee Alwan with 4.6 TRPs which is the highest ever reached among Female TG and ranked 2nd across Arabic GECs on Sat @ 8:00 pm.
The fiction drama is the story of 2 young men – Adarsh from India and Sikandar from Pakistan, whose lives intersect in Dubai in the early 90’s when they come here for their dream jobs. However, fate plays a cruel hand when they find that they have been duped by their employment agent back home. Their story of struggle, grit and friendship plays out over a span of 20 years – from their humble beginnings of odd jobs for survival to their success and the trials and tribulations along the way.
Al Tareeq was shot across different locations in UAE, since the local production and story was based in the UAE, the series was dubbed in Emirati Khaleeji accent.
