Popular for his portrayal of Sharifuddin Hussain in ZEE TV’s historical drama, Jodha Akbar and Vinod the brother of the protagonist Archana in the channel’s popular primetime soap Pavitra Rishta, actor Parag Tyagi is all set to return to Zee. Parag will soon be playing ‘Lohputra’, in Zee TV’s latest superhero series Maharakshak Aryan. As the name suggests, Lohputra will be a man of iron and will be the next villain sent by Triloki- the ultimate embodiment of evil (played by actor Vikramjeet Virk) to procure the MANI.
Making a comeback on television, Parag is glad about playing this rather interesting, differentiated character. On taking up the role, Parag said, “I will be playing Lohputra – the man of iron. He is one of the strongest allies of Triloki and will pose as the biggest threat to superhero Aryan’s life with his lofty, massive body and surprisingly agile form. Aryan’s father had chopped off his hands in an attempt to save the MANI. Since Lohputra’s strength was his arms, he now lies locked in the world of scrap and metal. This is the first time I am shooting for a super hero series and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience. It’s much more challenging as an actor and my fans will see me in a complete different avatar.”
The coming episode will see, Aryan in his quest for finding the truth behind his father’s death, accidently unlocks the hands of Lohputra. Lohputra, the Iron man who has been lying paralyzed for years is burning with a desire to avenge his misery and yearning to bounce back. He not only wants to acquire the MANI but also wants to create an army to enable himself to rule the world.
Maharakshak Aryan is a gripping narrative that showcases the triumph of good over evil. The show which launched on 1st November, in the weekend family unifier band of the channel has received a good response from the viewers. With shows like Neeli Chhatri Wale, Dil Se Naache India Wale and Maharakshak Aryan, ZEE TV is strengthening its original weekend programming line-up.
So will Lohputra be able to seek revenge from Aryan and procure the MANI or will Aryan be able to save the world by destroying this villain sent by Triloki?
