Zee Talkies has become the No.1 reach channel of Maharashtra amongst all the Marathi Entertainment Channels. This has led to a growth in viewership of 18% over last week.

The current skew of multiple initiatives on the channel like audience engagement contests (viz. Paishacha Paus, Ghantyala Sona, Maharashtracha Favorite Kon was followed by the Veer Marathi contest wherein the lucky winners won free tickets to Dubai to watch Veer Marathi’s next match on 1st Feb ’14), robust programming scheduling, extensive PR coverage for Zee Talkies Calendar and its sporting association with Celebrity Cricket League (CCL- Veer Marathi) has created a lot of affinity amongst the audience thus driving additional viewers to the channel. Even though Zee Talkies has always enjoyed the highest time spent by audiences on any movie channel, to get the highest reach has been a challenging task which has been successfully handled by the team with a critical gain in the Mumbai market in recent times.

Going forward, Zee Talkies plans to roll out some key initiatives with the aim to scale newer heights and provide quality entertainment to the audiences of Maharashtra.
