Zee Tamizh started the Zodiak Media format Killer Karaoke in India, from Saturday 14th December as Y This Kolaveri. Killer Karaoke is now showing in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Philippines. This is the first time Zee Tamizh has acquired an international format for its show named Y This Kolaveri.
Y this Kolaveri is a musical program that features the contestants attempting to sing while various attempts are made to disrupt their performance. The contestants have to hold on to the tune and lyrics of the song irrespective of the distractions for a given period of time to win the game. The show is a perfect blend of singing and comedy. The show is anchored by Big FM RJ Balaji who is well known for his timely sense of humour. The show is on-air every Saturday-Sunday at 7pm.
