As Zee Talkies has promised to its viewers of offering great entertainment and new films, the next bid of entertainment is ‘World Television Premiere’ – an Award winning film Anumati on 15th September @ 12.00pm & 6.00pm.
After winning many awards and a millions of hearts, Vikram Gokhale, Reema, Neena Kulkarni, Subodh Bhave, Sayee Tamhankar, Kishor Kadam, Neha Pendase starrer ‘ANUMATI’ is all set for a grand television premiere on Zee Talkies. Produced by Shree Pant Productions’ and directed by Gajendra Ahire, the movie had applauded in many national and international film festivals.
The film won many prestigious awards like India’s National Film award for best actor this year and also picked up the Best Actor and Best Film awards at the New York Indian Film Festival. It has garnered with Best director award and audience choice best film award in Pune International Film festival, Best film in Kans international film festival.
Anumati is the story of the elderly Ratnakar Pathare’s (Vikram Gokhale) attempts to save his dying wife (Neena Kulkarni), who has suffered brain hemorrhage. His son (Subodh Bhave) urges him to sign the DNR form (to remove life support) since the former has already spent a large share from his savings. However, Ratnakar refuses to budge as he is hopeful that his wife will survive. But how will he manage to find substantial financial support for further treatment? Anumati has a strong message about the importance of relationships; it was an opportunity to be part of something of substance.
