It has revealed several shades of Marathi culture and so it is considered as the ‘Maha Cinema’ not only for Maharashtra but on the entire globe.
With a motive of making the presence of ‘Maha Cinema’ felt in each and every household, a 24 hour Marathi movie channel ‘Zee Talkies’ was launched on 25th August, 2007. Zee Talkies has always tried its best to serve the platter of sheer entertainment with the line-up of interesting films for the audiences. Not only this, but in last five years, Zee Talkies has presented almost 14 films that has changed the face of economy of Marathi cinema. To continue with the legacy of the pride of Marathi Cinema and mark the ‘100 years of Indian Cinema’, Zee Talkies is all set to present a unusual gift to its audiences.
To salute the contribution of the legends in Marathi Cinema, Zee Talkies is coming up with an attractive calendar. Bharat Jadhav, Makarand Anaspure, Ankush Chaudhary, Subodh Bhave, Sanjay Narvekar, Mukta Barve, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sai Tamhankar, Sonalee Kulkarni, Siddharth Jadhav, Urmila Kanetkar, and Upendra Limaye along with Zee Talkies will honor Durga Khote, Shanta apte, Chandrakant Mandare, Dada Kondke, Raja Gosavi, Dr, Kashinath Ghanekar, Arun Sarnaik, Jayashri Gadkar, Smita Patil, Ranjana and Lakshmikant Berde. The photographs have been captured by Bharat Pawar and will be revealed in upcoming Zee Gaurav Nominations eve which is held on Friday, 15th Feb 2013 @ the Lalit, Andheri east amidst the veterans from the Marathi Entertainment Industry.
