About Ranjeet Rajwada:
He is very proud of the fact that he hails from Jaipur. Music is in his genes and he has been learning music for the past 14 years. Despite his parents being in the service industry, they’ve always had that natural proclivity towards music and encouraged his passion.
Being his first reality show, Ranjeet enjoyed his experience to the fullest. He believes in having fun whether be it on or off stage. And this enjoyment was evident in all of his performances.
This young ghazal singer whose rich voice belies his 19 yrs of age has shared the stage with the biggest names in the music industry like Sonu Nigam and Lata Mangeshkarji and even boasts of a YouTube video where he shares the screen with her. He has also won many awards in the last few years the President’s award in 2005 being one among them.
Having picked up his musical inclinations at his father’s side, Ranjeet fondly talks about the moment that he made his father proud by being selected for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar. The Jaipur media had encouraged him throughout the show as they were thrilled to have one of their own make them proud on such a mega platform.
Ranjeet attributed his success on the show to the training of his Guruji Pandit Chiranjilal Tanwar who has taken this young genius under his wing and trained him for eight years until he came to Mumbai.
After a successful season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Ranjeet keeps himself busy by doing stage shows all around the globe. Recently he also released his own solo album.
